What is Mode Hybrid?
Mode Hybrid is cross-disciplinary pilot to promote Swedish industries and innovations inspired by sustainability. It aims to focus on fashion’s value chain/stakeholders –that is, design, production, energy, heavy industry, natural resources, transportation- where a larger part of the fashion carbon footprint is made. The pilot will be launched under the umbrella of Fashion Week through a series of ”Hybrid Talks” on January 27th, 2015. One of the talks is titled ”Mission Possible: Swedish Fashion’s genius plan to save water in production countries”. The ultimate goal is a cross-pollination of disciplines, to bring Swedish designers, academia, researchers, business, industry and NGOs to the table.
